    • Shipping , payment & Returns

     

    The fee for your order depends on the type of product you are purchasing (in particular, the size and weight of a product). 

    We use freight companies that are are proven as the leaders in their field  

    Delivery charges are shown on checkout and are added to the final price of the item, as shipping fees may depend on the size and weight of items purchased. 

     We reserve the right to refuse orders or negotiate delivery fees. Please don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss delivery cost.

     

    Export -We are happy to arrange for you. Delivery charges will apply. 

    GST will not be charged for goods leaving NZ (shipping/Air freight Papers must be supplied).   

    We can also deliver to any freight forwarding companies free of charge.

     

    WARRANTIES, RETURNS and REFUNDS: 

    Power Tool Shop will repair, replace or refund (at our discretion) in the case of damaged or faulty goods.

    We have relationships with many warranty service agents throughout NZ and can direct you to your nearest one. 

    We will not return or refund on products if you have changed your mind. Please make sure the product you purchase is what you want prior to purchase, read all relevant information on products and warranties and ask questions if you are unsure.

     We always strive for 100% customer satisfaction, if you receive any faulty or damaged products be sure to contact us straight away so we can get the issue resolved.

    CONSUMER PRIVACY: 

    Your privacy is taken very seriously any and all information collected online, including newsletter subscriptions or email addresses will be kept confidential and will not be sold, rented, loaned, or otherwise disclosed. 

    When you visit our website, we record your visit and log the following information for statistical purposes – the user’s server address, the user’s top level domain name (for example .com, .gov, .nz, .uk etc), the data and time of visit to the site, and the type of browser used. 

    COOKIES
    A cookie is a a brief bit of data that is sent between a web server and a web browser on the user’s machine, when the user visits a website. The cookie may be stored on the user’s machine while shopping is in progress to keep a reminder of the goods in the shopping trolley or to recognise the user on their return to the shop.  It is NOT an executable program and cannot do anything to your machine.
    Note, the website (server) cannot find out a name or email address, or anything about a user’s computer, by using cookies. All information obtained is information that you supply by completing forms, e.g. during registration.

     

    PAYMENT AND SECURITY 

     Cardholder statements and payment records will indicate payment made to POWER TOOL SHOP LIMITED. This is also indicated on the invoice enclosed with the order.
    Credit Card details are not stored.  powertoolshop.co.nz website uses SSL and all Credit Card transactions are conducted via a third party. 

    Prices are in New Zealand dollars and GST inclusive. Local orders include 15% tax (GST), whereas international orders are GST exempt. This is shown on final checkout. All transactions are billed in New Zealand dollars.
